Anna Marie Savage is an Irish visual artist whose practice begins in the landscape. Through field research, water sampling and microscopy, she investigates the hidden ecologies of rivers, lakes and wetlands, translating microscopic observations into paintings and sculptural works that reveal the unseen structures beneath the water's surface.

Her work sits between scientific observation and abstraction, inviting viewers to slow down, look closely and reconsider the fragile ecosystems that exist within familiar landscapes.
