Oil, Charcoal on Oil Hahnemuhle Paper

There were two watchtowers (Romeo 13 and Romeo 13A) positioned on Camlough Mountain, south Armagh and were known locally as the ‘Twin Towers’. The colour palette stems from the filters I used manipulating the original images and these monochramtic pieces focus more on the circle, which represents the constant surveillance that the local people were under from the British Army.

Each piece is hand painted in oils on Hahnemuhle oil paper (unless otherwise stated) and signed on the back by the artist.
