Sturgan Mountain is situated very close to Camlough Mountain, south Armagh. This piece incorporates details of some of the linear makeup of the archictectural drawing from the Ministry of Defence and also translates many of the photographs I took of the defence barricades used to secure the watchtowers from attack.
Each piece is hand painted in oils on Hahnemuhle oil paper (unless otherwise stated) and signed on the back by the artist. I have included an interior wall design pic and although is not to scale (slightly larger than the original) it will give you an idea!
