Romeo Two Three Tievecrom was a sophistuicated watchtower situated near Forkhill, south Armagh. Golf Four Zero overlooked the base from the summit of Crosslieve to the West. This piece, like Romeo One One and Romeo One Six incorporates details of some of the linear makeup of the archictectural drawing from the Ministry of Defence and also translates many of the photographs I took of the defence barricades used to secure the watchtowers from attack.
Each piece is hand painted in oils on Hahnemuhle oil paper (unless otherwise stated) and signed on the back by the artist. I have included an interior wall design pic and although is not to scale (slightly larger than the original) it will give you an idea!
